At Snow College, we recognize both the opportunities and challenges presented by ChatGPT and other artificial intelligence tools. To address these, the College has established a task force to identify best practices and explore opportunities for the responsible, secure, and inclusive use of generative AI in teaching and curriculum design, as well as to help prepare our students for an evolving, AI-driven world. We greatly value the collaboration between the Faculty Senate, the Center for Teaching and Learning, and the AI Task Force to support our faculty in this important endeavor.

Please be assured that these cooperative initiatives are designed to offer future guidance as we work to better understand the impact of generative AI tools in educational settings. In partnership with Faculty Senate, the Center for Teaching and Learning will continue to revise resources, offer faculty training, and provide updated support to ensure that Snow College educators stay informed about the latest developments concerning this rapidly evolving area.
