The remarkable accomplishments of Snow College over the last 128 years have been achieved despite growing resource limitations. The College’s educational facilities, faculty development programs, information systems, infrastructure, and endowment are in need of enhancement and expansion. Success in accomplishing the mission of Snow College will require a greater commitment of private resources for future needs.
Through the Badger Football Improvements and Facilities Enhancement Campaign, we are
seeking support to sustain our commitment to football and to recruit and support the
very best student-athletes and coaches. We are embarking on a major renovation project
that will bring key football facilities, including Badger Stadium and Robert Stoddard
Field, up to the modern standards of an elite athletics program without compromising
our history and tradition.
The goal of the athletics program is to provide avenues for student-athletes to compete
against the best competition, graduate, and have an opportunity to have their education
paid for at a four-year program. In order to achieve these goals, the athletics department
will continue to look for ways to improve coaching techniques, recruit the best athletes,
and develop facilities to train these athletes both physically and mentally. A select
few have had, and will have, the opportunity to play professionally, but we know this
is the exception and not the rule.
