The overall purpose of the Little Badger Early Learning Center is to provide a safe, organized environment where young children can grow intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially. We offer a developmentally appropriate curriculum that fosters, curiosity, creativity, and self-esteem by taking into account children’s abilities and interest. Our Learning Center is a teaching lab for our Snow College student teachers and volunteers. The Center is to provide students an opportunity to directly teach, observe, and interact with young children of various ages to further the quality of their education in early childhood and human development.
Little Badgers Early Learning Center offers daycare hours but is a child development lab for children 6 weeks to 8 years of age. In addition, a preschool program is offered to all children enrolled in day care ages 2 and older. The morning preschool program is also open to children only interested in preschool.
Little Badgers Early Learning Center serves the community of Snow College and surrounding areas. The center is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Our preschool hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday. We follow the Snow College schedule, closing during semester breaks, summer break, and holidays.
A nonrefundable registration fee of $35.00 is required to hold your child’s spot. To complete registration for your child in the program, fill out this packet and return it to the Little Badger Early Learning Center. You will pay the $35.00 registration fee at the Cashier’s window.
Little Badgers Policy is to bill for time reserved for daycare/Preschool. We call the billing a tuition, because you pay for your child’s reserved time, rather than time actually used.
