Paraprofessionals are an essential part of the educational process. They provide key
support to both teachers and students and make schools more effective and a better
environment for the students. This certificate will help paraprofessionals be more
effective in their careers and also establish the foundation for an eventual transition
to a full teacher.
Courses for this certificate are available in person or online, and can be finished
in one year if attending full-time. Students who enter the Education program at Snow
College will graduate with both an associate degree and this certificate, allowing
them to begin their career while completing their bachelor’s degree.
