For the fifth basic skills assignment, I'd like you to practice proper documentation
of source material (in other words,
to practice avoiding plagiarism). Read the linked article on Haiti. The works cited entry for the article would be

After reading the article,

assignment.)

sure to put the quote in your own words.
- Use a signal phrase and in-text citation to cite a paraphrase with short quoted phrases
from the article.
Your response should be typed and will count towards the 50 point basic skills category.
It should be about a half-page long, and it is due at the beginning of class on Friday,
