Course Name: Beginning Art
This course is for those who are interested in a fun and upbeat approach to art. This class will be studio based, each student will keep a sketch book to see their progress and to practice sketching. We will be learning about the materials, tools techniques and basic elements of a composition. This class will focus on learning how to draw what you see. You will learn how to approach visual problems, plan and execute a piece of artwork.

Aleia received her interdisciplinary bachelor’s degree at Western Washington University, titled "The Influence if Visual Culture on Social Relationships and Responsibilities" She studied studio art, art and society and post-modern art theory in her degree. She is currently employed as a graphic designer and artist for a company in Richfield. She is also an independent multi-media artist who explores natural phenomenon, animals, behaviors and people in her work. Aleia loves to inspire people.
