Instructions for logging on to Larry's Public Folder from a Mac:
Go to the Apple menu in the upper left corner of the screen and pull down to the Chooser.
In the Chooser window click once on AppleShare in the upper left, the "Science Zone"
zone in the lower left and "Larry Smith's Old Computer" file server on the right side
of the window. Then click OK.
When it asks you to log on, click the guest button (so you won't need a password).
Then click "connect."
It gives you a list of choices to connect to, and you want what is probably the only
one available to you, the "public" folder. Please don't check the square box.
Close the chooser and then double-click on the "public" file drawer icon on the right
side of the screen.
Do your work.
Be sure to drag the "public" file server to the trash when you are through to log
off.
