College Algebra - Math 1050

Course Description:

An axiomatic development of the real number system, logarithms, systems of equations, complex numbers, theory of equations, matrices, progressions, and the binomial theorem. Graphing calculator required. Prerequisites: Math 1010 with a C or better, ACT math score of 23 or higher, or appropriate placement test score. Prerequisite score or class must have been completed within the last two years or you must (re-)take placement test.
