Girls Basketball Individual Camp For any girls 3rd-12th grade, looking to learn the fundamentals of the game and have fun!

About the Instructor

With over 12 years of coaching experience, 10 while coming as a head coach, Coach Mike Russell is entering his 3rd season at Snow College as the head womens basketball coach. Coming to a 20-12 overall record and a semifinal loss in the conference tournament in 2015-16, Snow would return just one player from their roster heading into the 2016-17 campaign. De- spite having to rely upon a young core of freshmen and 13 new faces, Russell led the Lady Badgers to a 3rd place finish in the SWAC regular season, and a 2nd place finish in the Region XVIII Tournament.

 In eight seasons at Bonneville High School (Ogden, Utah), Russell took the Lakers to the state playoffs seven times, accumulating a record of 113-67 along the way. His teams won three consecutive Region V Championships (2012-14), a stretch during which his teams recorded 61 wins against only nine losses, and progressed to the state quarterfinals in 2012 and 2014 with a semifinal appearance in 2013. Russell coached boys basketball at Ogden High School for two seasons prior to taking the position at Bonneville.
