Christine Hanks, Assistant Director of the Ephraim Small Business Development Center (SBDC), provides business consulting services and business training at the Richfield SBDC satellite office. Christine recently joined as the Assistant Director for the Snow College SBDC program in March 2021. She is also the Custom Fit administrator serving clients in the six-county area.
Christine was raised in American Fork, Utah. A graduate of American Fork High School, Christine also graduated from Snow College with an AS in Social Work and with a Certificate in Marketing. She is currently in the middle of completing her bachelor's in Social Work through USU.
Before working full-time for the SBDC, Christine has worked in the HR, Business, and SBDC Departments of Snow College. She brings HR understanding, business knowledge, social media/marketing expertise, as well as teaching and counseling experience. She has owned two businesses totaling 18+ years of business ownership experience. She has worked as the manager of a Dental Office in Springville Utah and completed all operation tasks, from payroll to reviews and raises. In addition to her professional experience, Christine has served in many callings of leadership positions within her church. She was recently awarded Employee of the Semester at Snow College for her hard work and dedication to her job and those around her.
Christine and her husband have 10 children and 8 grandchildren with several on the way. She enjoys spending time with her family, riding snowmobiles and boating with her husband, cooking, reading, and sitting in the sun.
