This class is ideal for those who have little or no experience in watercolor. We will focus on getting comfortable with watercolor painting techniques and enjoying the process of painting. The basic of materials, tools, techniques, basic color theory, value, and "seeing" your subject will be explored. The class is designed to be fun and inspirational and will focus on how to relax and enjoy the process of painting.
Basic watercolor techniques include, but are not limited to: washes, wet-on-wet, lifting, composition, and negative painting.
Students must purchase their own supplies. A list will be provided upon registration.
