DESCRIPTION:About This Course\nThis course will provide students with an introduction to wilderness survival. Topics will include: minimum supplies for any outdoor adventure\, snare building\, ropes and knots training\, river crossing safety\, wilderness survival including food sources\, water purification\, shelter building\, fire starting\, SOS signals\, and introduction to wilderness first aid. This will be a hands on course where students will actually be seeing and touching the materials for the knots training\, snare building\, fire starting\, shelter building\, water purification\, etc… course will also include videos\, slideshows\, and written materials.\n
