Qualifications• Preference will be given to persons who have obtained a degree
• Preference will be given for previous teaching experience at high school and college levels
• Preference will be given for curriculum development background
• Preference will be given for previous industry experience
• Must have a strong background in industrial technology and/or related industry
• Must have excellent people skills, including teaming and problem solving
• Must have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Must be dependable and trustworthy
• Must be able to take lead on projects
• Must have computer skills in using Microsoft Office, Internet, etc.
• Must be able to keep confidences
• Must be able to follow directions
• Must be able to pass a fingerprint and criminal background check
Duties• Instruct students in a lab setting
• Teach Snow College courses in one or more of the following subject areas: Automated Manufacturing, Robotics, Industrial Mechanics I, and Industrial Mechanics II
• Ensure lab equipment is secure and operable for student instruction
• Advise program director when additional lab supplies are needed
• Assist with maintaining an orderly and clean environment in the lab to ensure safety
• Provide mentorship to students
• Perform recruiting for program
• Assist with entering attendance
• Assist with entering scores
• Assist with shop projects
• Assist with tool crib/materials control
• Other duties as assigned
Additional InformationSalary: This is a part time position a salary range of $20 to $35 per hour. No benefit package is offered for this position.
