|Qualifications||MS (required) or PhD (preferred) in chemistry, biochemistry or chemical engineering with other chemistry related fields considered.|
A strong background or desire to work in natural resources and with field-based instruction.
Candidates should be capable of creating and offering courses, online, via distance education, and at outside locations.
Successful candidates will demonstrate a rigorous, students centered curriculum
Preference will be given to candidates willing to locate to the Richfield area.
|Duties||Teach foundation level courses in both chemistry and natural resources.|
Oversee Chemistry Laboratories and Safety.
Establish a stronger General Education Enrollment in Richfield.
Work well with colleagues.
Have a visionary attitude and an ability to teach in the most effective modalities.
Oversee internships, student workers, and projects in the natural resources area.
Participate in faculty development activities.
Participate in college committee assignments.
Participate in recruiting efforts.
Participate in advising students.
Teaching assignments may include
evening, weekend, and summer courses.
Formats may include classroom instruction,
distance education, and internet based courses.
